Property maintenance is a very important to keep your home looking great. Sometimes we can forgot about things that aren't particularly in sight and can be left to get very bad. This colorbond shed has been left for about 10 years and is now covered in black mould and green lichen. It is best to get a moss treatment put on early before it takes over the whole roof.

How To Get Rid Of Lichen From Your Colorbond Roof?

Moss, Mould & Lichen is a common, unsightly & annoying organism that constantly latches onto white colorbond roofs... on most colorbond roofs for that matter. It can be difficult to keep away just using conventional high pressure cleaning, due to the spores remaining on the roof even after a pressure clean. By applying Moss Roof Treatment we are able to kill the lichen & spores to prevent further regrowth from occurring. Whilst also cleaning up the roof, making it look appealing again. Though it is not instant, it is much safer to get done and does not cause any damage to the roof, as it is applied at medium pressure and is a water based product. White Colorbond Roofs With Lichen & Mould

These 3 units were absolutely covered in black mould and green lichen and in desperate need of a clean up. We applied our Moss Treatment to the colorbond roofs to kill the lichen, mould & spores to prevent new growth. It then begins to disintegrate and wash away over time with assistance of the wind and ran. The customer were concerned that nothing was happening after a couple months, generally only small changes would have occurred within that period. In between 6-12 months is when more noticeable changes occur, especially on the North and West facing sides on the colorbond roof. 12 Months later these roofs were looking fantastic! and will continue to look great for many more years to come.
